I don't love this album because it's radiohead. I love this album because it's amazing. End of story.

i wouldn't have listened to it 15 times on release week if it wasn't radiohead, but if i had given equal attention to another band, i would have formed the same opinion about that album. i'm big into hail to the thief, and this album is better

lol us guys will never get it eh.

ya kubrick that video is insane. there is so much imagery there it melts my mind. it sure is the coolest video i've ever seen. everything from the camera techniques to the direction. the movement of the objects and the camera. even the clouds in the sky send my head spinning. all that and the song together make a masterpiece. i would like to see that director do another project for King of Limbs. i would say as an alternative video for Lotus Flower or something but the original video is epic.

Hope not. I thought one of the coolest parts was the last scene where all of the figures are standing on the lake and the camera slowly pans left as the sun sets and the moon rises. That was pretty breathtaking.

If this was not by Radiohead you are right that I would not 5 it. That's because art has always been
and will always be reactionary. This album is a reaction to everything else they have done and that
understanding bolsters the pleasure you get from this album. So your argument, while correct, is unnecessary.

your argument is like trying to say that bands don't make the music they do. which could be argued to some extent, but really falls short in the end. maybe your preconceived hard-on for classic rock, 80's instrument effects, and over the top instrumentation is what makes you like moving pictures. not that you genuinely like it as music. we can like The King of Limbs as a piece of music if we want to. if u can't stand it, stop returning to this thread.
