I love the vocals! My roommates hate me now for playing this album so much.

At first, the soft vocals annoyed me a little. Then I started to really like them. Then, I really did not care for the ambient sections; then I started to appreciate them more. One day, I just played the album loud, and I was crushed by the powerful sound. Again.

I play the album by sections, maybe that is the reason I have not formed in my mind a clear impression of the album as a whole. I really prefer to discover the album little by little.

May I ask you, Willie, how did you find out about this band?

i'm pretty sure their next album will be a lot better. they've surely not found the right groove yet. you're able to eventually become acceptant to the transitions on this, but they're quite awful amidst its overall scope. with more planning these guys could make a classic album.

this is around about a 3.5.

Am I crazy for finding "My Hands Will Burn First" the weakest track on the album? I assumed it would be unanimous with all you guys, but it seems I'm actually very much in the minority. :P

Perhaps I just need to listen to it more. I'm going to rate this a 4, because I've been listening to it for the past 3 weeks and still want more. For me, that's quite incredible.

I randomly found their EP on a blog when it first came out. Damn, if only I would have mentioned them on here back then.

Believe it or not, I was watching Dragonball Z on some website, and they have a chat window beside the

video upon which a random dude posted a youtube video of "My Hands Will Burn First". Really random,

but quite convenient.

there are obvious parts of metalcore here, so calling it not metalcore would be stupid

Yeah, progressive metalcore or whatever. But it's still metalcore.
