Btw, name-dropping 'post-rock' is really stupid when talking about a band like Agalloch, especially when looking at the big picture.

Need this. I loved PF and The Mantle, but I'm not so much into Ashes. I listened to them in that order, so maybe I'm just getting sick of the band.

I don't want to be a dick, but people telling me I have little grasp of post-rock is just hilariously ironic. Just because one of their albums was admittedly post-rock influenced it doesn't mean that as a band they are influenced by it on this record. And the argument was that this is "too post-rock"... Bullshit it is.
