I used to really like Linkin Park when I was in high school and every once in a while I still listen to their old songs. I heard Waiting for the End on the radio and liked the lyrics so I decided I'd go on iTunes and buy this album to see what they've been doing.... worst mistake ever!!! I want my $11.99 back!!! Some of the lyrics are well written but Chester should really focus on his screaming and not on singing... especially in that slow ballad song at the end, he just can't do it. Most of the songs just sounded terrible to me and the ones that weren't almost physically painful to sit through were all too boy band. I had an 'NSYNC flashback! I guess what they did was "creative" but it's like staring at a piece of modern art that looks like a sharpie line and saying it's amazing... there's nothing to it, and it's confusing. Put that next to the Mona Lisa and it looks like something a 2 year old did.

I actually like this album. It's not classic or amazing, but it's definitely not St Anger material.

The album is great. Most, if not all of the negative responses on these 700 comments are fueled by pure chemicals. It's just emotions. It's fun to listen to, the lyrics are cool, and unless you listen to only black metal and techno/dance music, anybody could have fun with it.

The political aspect isn't exactly left or right...both sides can relate to the songs. It's just chemicals.

One of the most-est worst-est album of this new millenium (by the same artists who released one of the best albums of this millenium). Carry on, Linkin Park. I am having fun witnessing how ignorant the world can be .

Burning in the Skies and Robot Boy were the only ones that I liked very much.
