I prefer Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, doesn't have a lot of riffs but that's not the only thing I look for

If the bomb dropped on Hiroshima had a radio attached to it while hurtling through the air and was playing a riff from this the entire continent of Asia would have been leveled instead of just one city. There's actually a secret international law that says that nerdy weapons engineers are forbidden from ever listening to this album while building weapons because that weapon would obliterate 50 billion galaxies in the universe. The riffs on “Helpless” and “Am I Evil” and “Sucking My Love” and “Its Electric” are 4 of the best riffs in the history of riffdom and that’s only because they aren’t quite as rifftastic as the riffs on the title track and “The Prince.”

That's definitely arguable, fac.

Powerslave doesn't touch this for me due to its (unarguable) inconsistency.

This beats Powerslave, the only Maiden albums that touch it are NOTB and S/T

There are a few Maidens that can hold their own against this one. Namely NOTB, Powerslave and SiT but if I had to choose one album to rule them all, I'd go with SiT. I'm glad I don't have to though.

seventh son is probably the weakest 1-7 maiden album

i dont see powersalve inconsistent at all tbh, only not classic song for me is back in the village which is fine

the duellists is prob maiden's most underrated song
