Yeah, for me Sister is my all time favorite of theirs. Great riffs and songwriting there. The whole record just feels like controlled chaos.

It's a matter of opinion. The CDs have dominated the music business around 1986/1987 so you could argue that double vinyl albums made after this date should not really be considered double albums (because they're not double on the more popular CD).

According to Discogs it was indeed released as a double CD... but not before 2007.

Doesn't matter though, for some people it will never be a double CD because it was released in an age when 70some minutes wasn't a standard for double. Some people will never consider Leaves Turn Inside You (fits onto one CD) a double and Have One on Me a triple either (fits easily onto two CDs). Myself I will call an album double if the band claims so even if it's 15 minutes long but sometimes I wonder if it isn't the other side that's right.
