I always found With Teeth more exhilarating than the previous albums.

I like La Mer, but I always saw it more as a prelude to Into the Void

Also, I LOVE Into the Void

not really a prelude, I mean it's longer than Into the Void lmao. they're sister songs, same as The Great Below/Underneath it All, and probably a few more on The Fragile

"I mean it's longer than Into the Void lmao."

(This is for you Potsy, cuz I know you're gonna call me out for um actuallying, but)

UM ACTUALLLLY, it's shorter, but barely

"La Mer" - 4:38

"Into the Void" - 4:50

I think he was trying to make them pretty much the same length though, so I can go with sister songs

"the definitive remaster"

You mean the 2017 remaster that cuts a minute of Ripe (With Decay) off? Do people even listen to that version?

Doesn't count, not the 1999 release everyone knows and loves

it's legit the best-sounding album in my entire collection. every DE has sounded superb, Trent knows what he's doing. also as if you're gonna pass up extended mixes of a bunch of songs + The New Flesh in its rightful place on the tracklist

You're barking up the wrong tree, Row

One of my main complaints about this album is that it's way too fucking long for its own good, so yeah I'm pretty sure I'd hate that he made some of the songs longer

I also don't like "The New Flesh" at all, in fact, it's worse than like any song that made the original album, even the absolute space waster "The Way Out Is Through"

La Mer is absolutely amazing, as is The Great Below.

The Big Comedown is the best track on disc 2 for sure.
