@stinkerton

No, it isn't. I think my visioning about all TBS records are pretty accurate, actually. While I at 21 years old post-adolescent young man, things aren't that different than when you have 16. TAYF is fueled with teenage angst and drama that suited me perfectly back then. I'd say that albeit overrated, TAYF is a classic because of what it meant and still means to me.

While New Again, it's again the perfect record they could make at my age now. I feel this one as a better record than their previous ones, not simply because of my aging, but for while I still can relate a lot to all these tracks, they do sound more skilled and master of their craft, that is, making records that mean something to people. I have this theory about New Again: there will be people who will hate it forever. But there will be people that while aging, will perceive how fucking awesome this record is.

My reasoning for it? Well, people loved TAYF first because they could relate to. Adam went through a lot of shit as I did myself. I don't think it would be possible to me to even like this without going through all the things I went, and I'm sincerily amazed with anyone under 25 really digging this. There're little nuances on the lyrics people wouldn't get without going through similar things. Maybe I'm completely wrong and people will never discovering themselves digging this, but it's what I think. The angst on this record is quite more complex than some may think.

I don't empathize with Adam on any level. He broke one amazing band into three bands, by being a prick. The two bands that broke off are better than TBS.

And yes, still super gay.
