But Arghoslent is so much better than Alestorm
I can't disagree with that. Doesn't change the fact that Alestorm gets my head banging, and Arghoslent puts me to sleep.

I like Alestorm a lot, but can agree that Arghoslent are better. I prefer to listen to Alestorm if I want something fun and mindless, but I respect Arghoslent more for their musicianship and songwiritng ability.
Having said that, I do think Alestorm have the ability to write catchy, semi-techical thrash/powermetal. People just don't like them because of the pirate gimmick.
