Forever Changes is my favourite yeah. Safe as Milk is up there too, also The Red Crayola album is really good you should check it if you haven't, it's more on the experimental side~

Ars, on a scale from 1 to Derp how do you feel about not listening to this sooner?

Animals and Dark Side, but this has potential to top them honestly

I mean psychedelic 60s stuff on average appeals to me more than prog anyway

"Ars, on a scale from 1 to Derp how do you feel about not listening to this sooner?"

1, I'm perfectly okay with taking my time :P I also listened to Floyd's 9 non album singles from this era and they're really good too. Especially See Emily Play and Paintbox

I'm with ya there buddy, prog rock was never really my thing, floyd and genesis being the peculiar exceptions. Animals is my fave too, could bump that one to a 5 soon.

Oh I love some prog, but it's usually Zappa/Can and stuff like that

and I even love Yes, Camel and Floyd and have finally started accepting King Crimson into my taste, but 60s psych stuff is often way more interesting

See Emily Play is only on the US version so I don't really count it as a Piper track, but it's great nonetheless

Yeah, the US version takes 3 tracks off and only adds See Emily Play, ugh why are US versions always inferior?

"Yeah, the US version takes 3 tracks off and only adds See Emily Play, ugh why are US versions always inferior? " You should listen to the original Manic Street Preacher's The Holy Bible and then the US remix

Even James Dean Bradfield, singer of the band, says it's far superior than what was originally intended
