I ended up just buying the thing off bandcamp. It’s decent, has some real quality and is much better than I remember, I definitely prefer Effloresce though.

Effloresce is a magical album.

It took me foreverrr to get into Effloresce and figure out what it was trying to do structure-wise. Not all the songs on that one work for me and they were often oddly sequenced. This just flows so gracefully and mind-bendingly.

Man, true - Effloresce song structures can be pretty messy. But somehow I didn't notice that until recently on, like, my 500th listen to the album haha. The sections they develop are jsut hypnotising, they hit the spot in just the right way...

Actually the track sequencing on Effloresce is quite creative because each instrumental sets up the mood for the next three upcoming songs

Yeah idk why it took me so long to put that together. It definitely is unique. I think a large portion of the middle I just couldn’t remember, but upon revisiting recently, You Wish and Saturday clicked in a big way too which helped.

Also , this is just pure speculation and subjective perception, but based on how Vennart replied under his Frames vinyl insta post, he seemed to be much more positive towards an idea of a 'Size reunion.

Whereas before he basically said "hell no"



Tbh if they did reunite, i think their reunion album would be good, but not something like Inlet for Hum. But just for the fact that i could see them live, i would take it in a heartbeat. Even if i had to travel to England for that
