rage against the machine, faith no more, kyuss, darkthrone, dream theater releases and megadeth's countdown to extinction all came out the same year just to name a few, all are highly respected and well remembered metal albums. I would kill to have a metal year as good as 1992.

Dimebag Darrell is the only reason I'm listening to this band.

compared to what we get now, i agree with you. most of those bands you mentioned contributed as well.

are you trying to say that heavy metal wasn't suffering in the early to mid nineties?

"Dimebag Darrell is the only reason I'm listening to this band."

Phil Anselmo did something much better than this without Dimebag.

I enjoy Nola for the instrumentation arrangement. Not for the vocals.

The vocals on Nola fucking rule. But yeah it's mainly about the riffs on that album.

im talking mainstream metal for the most part.....black metal wasn't popular here in the states and death metal only had so much of a following......every band was putting out pretty good shit up until the early 90's. the 80's was fucking roarin man....

BigHans, Notrap, manosg, and the likes know exactly what im talking about cuz they lived it
