If only the other two post-M&A LPs were this good

(Still need to get on Nasty Parlour Tricks [even though that's technically M&A-era] and No One's First)

I'll start one of those threads:

5/5: Spitting Venom > Parting of the Sensory > March into the Sea > Missed the Boat

4.5/5: Steam Engenius > Little Motel

4/5: Dashboard > Invisible > Fire It Up > We've Got Everything

3.5/5: Florida > Fly Trapped in a Jar > People as Places as People

3/5: Education

Fly trapped in a jar is good but that mood change halfway through always throws me a bit off

"How does this compare to Good News? Love that record."

they're pretty much equal in my books. this might be a little more inconsistent but some of the highs surely beat anything off good news

also < 3 you too sowbro

"Still inexplicably my favorite MM"

Understandable tbh. This is their catchiest album, is nearly loaded with bangers front-to-back, and the highlights on offer here are truly phenomenal material.

I'd still only rank this as their fourth-best album. Incredible band.

Good News is better than this, but Spitting Venom on here is still their best song since TM&A
