-primitive drumming even for classic DM
-weak solos when compared to later Death
-boring riffs, many of which sound dated and don't hold up today
-Just because it's influential doesn't mean it's good. Same with Venom's first two albums.

Well yeah, when compared to later Death this is obviously going to come up short. I think it's solid
for what it is, though. To me, this album is nothing more than a really talented group of guys playing
straight-up DM and not overthinking it.
