Fuck this mindset. This thinking is exactly what allows bands to continue taking advantage of their fans. We shouldn’t pick and choose which bands to condemn and which bands to continue listening to. While Brand New were one of my all time favourite bands, I had no issues dropping them after the allegations came to light. I’d do the same with any other band who's music I enjoy, as well, since that’s the least important thing in the grand scheme of things.

i guess the only thing stopping pete and others from getting cancelled is that their rumours dont have a lot of publicity right now; like there hasnt been an explosion of trending hashtags and headlines, just lowkey whispers getting passed around, albeit to everyone.



yeah idk for some reason I feel like even if such an explosion did happen it wouldn't really matter I don't think the core fob audience would give a shit and given that it happened with the same girl it would probably always be overshadowed by Jesse's story
