Somewhat. Big year for me. Moved to Louisville, KY for the year and met the person who is now my wife and the mother of my children. So yes I remember it quite well (and quite fondly).

Smoke Detector is probably their single most ballsy song in just about a decade is what it is

Wow squiggly you really missed getting absolutely freaked with a shordy wearing galaxy tights and an owl necklace while Mumford and Sons played in the background.

2009 and 2011 were arguably the most significant of my adult life (the latter for tect's reasoning, minus the kids). 2010 itself was a whirlwind, enjoyable in part, very tough / hectic in other moments

I was not jamming Natty at this time

Closed backs really work for this hmm. The claustrophobic ‘closeness’ is a boon and it also emphasises the lower end of dat stellar percussion. Works for some albums more so than others (tbh I mostly use them for travelling, they were just ‘to hand’ late last night).
