Its not even that I don't like the second half cuz I do, it's just the first half is stupendous! a lot of tracks on the second half are more stripped back which is fine and all and works with the whole vibe of the album, it just makes me prefer the flow of the first six tracks, those are the ones I come back to the most at least, other than untitled
Both the instrumentals on this are fucking awesome

The first six tracks is are just absolutely perfect. Communist Daughter, Ghost, and the closer are amazing for sure but not quite on the same level. I've definitely played the first half a lot more than I have the second tbh.

It's definitrly best as a whole but when I want to hear this album 99% of the time I want to hear the first half and Oh Comely and not those other songs I mentioned.
I listen to The Penny Arcade in California on its own sometimes too.
