Re-listening to this album reading the lyrics. Yeah these lyrics are way more "conscientious" than I initially gave it credit for; the production style cheapens them tho, even the more pop/trap inspired songs on GKMC had beats that matched the lyrics and tone. Got hyped that Kendrick gave my homecity Stockton a shoutout on Element tho
