I thought finally this is a bad Deftones album, but shit out of luck, it's a fucking grower, at least the first half. Just gotta give it undivided attention and it blooms and unfolds and the universe laughs at your insignificance as you dilute yourself in the sound once, twice, a hundred times like a stupid homeopathy pill. Fucking 'tones man, I hate that they mess with my head so much.
That being said, the second half is indeed kinda lacking. If SNW was gazy, and KNY was hazy, then Gore is quite lazy.
Also, why everyone hates Adrenaline so much, it's ridiculously crisp for the first album, made in '95 no less.

I actually like the 2nd half more. It has more bad songs but also more highlights than the first. First one is consistent but kinda boring (except H/W). The run from (L)MIRL to Rubicon crushes everything on the 1st half

I enjoy Doomed user->Geometric->HW sequence, and Acid Holograms has interesting parts. On the second half, I can't get over how poorly t/t is mixed. But to each their own.

Acid Hologram, Geo Headress, Xenon, Pittura- I just can't stand them but fortunately for the record the highlights save it
