yep, and also Acid Hologram and Geometric Headdress are both high-tier Deftones easily. Title track also rips. Xenos, Pittura Infamante and especially (L)MIRL are cool experiments too.
Peeps be sleeping on a top-tier record tbh. It's currently in my top 3 with SNW and s/t.

Some strange decisions with mixing and production for this album. It felt like a complete regression in that respect. This sounds like a good example of where conflicts within a band often don’t lead to some sort of pained creativity, just a watered down version of each other's vision.

sounds like a creativity boost to me. Abe's drumming is delicious and the songwriting is unique. If anything, laying off the riffs™️ (which are still there anyway) made it a refreshing listen letting them stretch their musical wings

Album is tight as fuck and def one of my favorites by these guys. Severely underrated. But then again I think a lot of their shit is severely overrated so I guess I'm not one to talk. One thing I will say, it has its own style and the cover is still gorgeous
