My favorite album of 2006.

Gerards vocals are superb on this album, truely astonishing.

Some amazing songs, eg Dead!, Sleep, House Of Wolves etc

But some let downs, I Dont Love You, This Is How I Dissapear.

The guitar work is tight and vastly improved, good solid durmming, though the bass is barely noticable. As usual.

I love this band, but I think 've been over-geneerous with my original rating.

Maybe a 3.5-4.0 maxium

I couldn't agree more. While I still love to listen to the album there is an ever pervading sense that "hey, isn't this like (insert Queen song here)?" But maybe that isn't such a bad thing, if it helped them put together such a well rounded album then I suppose I'm ok with that.
