I haven't listened to this band in ages...my interest in them sort of died when they did. Haha, I remember a couple tracks from Chuckles being bearable, but just cause they were so boring and uneventful there was just nothing there to form an opinion on

I saw them live just under a year after Chuckles came out and they put on a really solid show. I honestly blame a lot of Chuckes' failures on the production - the songs weren't nearly as dull/grating live. I sincerely hope the band hasn't thrown in the towel since (providing that Chuckles is a one off mis-step in an otherwise impressive discography).

its a grower for sure, I struggled to like it at the beginning, I have followed this band since their first release which was very different and heavier, so this was frustrating for me, but it is rewarding

I listened to it once and never again. Normally I'm willing to give something a chance if I can't get into it at first, but Chuckles is just offensively bad. It's the only Dredg album I didn't bother to buy a physical copy of.

Yea this album isn't very accessible so you might not like it on the first listen. It griped me at first but won't be like that for everyone obviously. The dreamy atmosphere will prob take some getting used to for some. Especially if you started with leitmotif or catch without arms
