Your quasi-existence is a welcomed sight, Mars. I'll take quasi-existence over non-existent any day.

By age, yes.

By maturity, likely never as much as I should be.

This actually earns the hype FWIW

I think I've already wore this out, not enjoying it very much the last few days

To be fair I listened to it several times a day for the first week but I thought it would have even more staying power

Body Behavior is the song with the most staying power for me as of right now, probably because it's also the most interesting they've put out. It honestly might grow to be my favorite off this.

Amethyst is my favorite. It’s so sunbather which already tickles my nuts. Orange Tree feels like You Without End done correctly (without the missteps made in the last third of the song). Winona is just everything leading up to this. Those are top 3 for me. But literally every song here is just an absolute stunner.

Sometimes I be like Winona is their best song. Then I listen to the pecan tree again and I get confused. Then I listen to Winona again and I make the same claim. I think that they made an album that makes me bounce back and forth is a statement in and of itself. This is an absolute monster and a masterpiece. And so is Sunbather

@ budgie

To be fair I wouldn't call it exhausting

It's one of the easiest listening metal-adjacent albums ever unless someone is absolutely allergic to any harsh vocals and blast beats I can't imagine them finding it difficult to get through

But I can see why people aren't in love with it

"Can’t believe people support the dairy industry still lol"

yeah it is absolutely mind boggling the cruelty inherent in it compounded with the lies we are told and sold to as kids about it. it's embarrassing that even adults have been conditioned to think cows naturally produce milk lmao. ethically vile and completely indefensible.
