That's true. I just don't know if people rate albums on here in a really subjective way, or if there's some objectivity involved.



What I mean is, if it's really subjective, then yes, this album can be a 1. But if you take into account the production value, the efforts that were put into it, etc. it can't really be a 1.

the production sounds huge and anthemic, the guitars have a very strong, thick tone, and the only thing I'd do is turn down the master to make it more dynamic, akin to a vinyl rip if this album was to get a vinyl release.

the guitars have a high pitched ringing to them that doesn't belong + some of the low end on the chugs is scooped out and hollow but it's like they added back some fake bass in post + the drum production has a similar thing going on where it makes them sound like they were ripped directly from a 2013-present era ukf dubstep riddim track except put through a filter that makes them flatter + all of the electronic elements are all tossed together on the same layer instead of possessing any dynamics whatsoever

it's just not good

synesthesic anathema only enjoyable to those with bizarro ears and phone speakers
