Recently I posted about how I felt like there was a noticeable dip in quality after YNYA, so decided to revisit this and NLTL.



NLTL is still pretty meh to me in the context of their discography, but this one really clicked for me this time and totally rules.The usage of clean vocals really progressed their sound without taking up too much runtime. It's even a bit surprising because past attempts at using them didn't really work too well IMO.



I almost want to put this in their top-tier of albums with TDBHAH and YNYA, but will need some more time to think about that.

Ok finally replaying this after a long break, and basically I love it all except t/t and skin beneath a scar. Which are not bad tracks per se but just don’t do anything for me. I could prob 4.5 this but 🤷🏼‍♂️
