Waves is very much the only song that feels like a comeback song. Doesn't expand on their sound, just lets you know they're back

@madrigal30 bet that shit was dope.
Anyone have any fun shroom stories listening to albums? I did shrooms listening to the new Pyrrhon album and it was a total nightmare hellscape, but in a fun way. I was laugh-crying throughout the whole thing, even threw up at one point.

Am I the only one who thinks this is miles better than DiH? The riffs are massive, the guitar tone is crunchier, the atmospheric/'gazey moments are more committal and the songwriting is altogether more ambitious and expansive.
Or maybe I just like stoner rock.

it’s better in ways for sure. i think they’re different enough from each other to both be amazing and that this is probably the best album they could have ever come out with after DiH

i also definitely could see this contextualizing DiH in a way that could possibly make someone like it that didn’t before as there are lots of classic hum-isms throughout this
