I think the second part of your sentence disproves the first part, doesn'T IT?

I mean compared to foos or royal blood i'd say this band strays just a bit from mainstream, but i see where you're coming from.

I don't think my sentence disproves itself. Back in the day they'd be a little off the track, but today given the lack of rock bands making waves in the charts etc they're one of the best we've got, and one of the most notable.

So catchy, arguably their best single.

On a Queens kick and it rules hard.

Yup, this has been getting lots of airplay from me lately too, their best one imo.

Such a good one pleb, i love barrett martin's style of play so much, probably my personal favorite drummer ever.

The main riff is so hypnotic and that bassline rules so hard, ughhhhh Homme might be an asshole sometimes but the man is a genius.

He was a bit of a tit during the whole Kyuss break up.

Also some of his drunk stage antics in the early 00's were a bit dumb, flipping off the crowd shit like that.

He seems to have mellowed with age tho.

Ah okay, I didn't know about that. I've seen him in interviews and he seemed like a really cool guy, although I've seen one video of him acting a bit douchey live but it was pretty funny.

He's great nowadays, seeing them at Download 2013 was awesome!

Great setlist indeed, especially nice to see hangin tree in there. The lack of all but one of nick's tunes is shameful though, but understandable since no one in the band can quite pull off the mad oliveri vocals like the man himself ahah.

But that being said, auto pilot would be a fairly easy tune for homme to get down on vocals and it is one of their best songs imo, so it sucks not to see it played live that much currently.

TLoKaS is one of the best things they've ever done, if not best

Other beasts are in the fade and auto pilot

Album's amazing though

Nick wasn't there Dan so that's maybe why.
