This album is fine if you view it through the prism of a pop album. Never really thought they were great at the deathcore genre. The album definitely has a lot of variety to it. This album structurally reminds me of the 1975 album in some ways.

I don't know much about the pre Sempiternal era and I didn't listen to Sempiternal much either, so I don't know if that means much tbh. But it's a genuinely great song I could see myself listening to in the future. This band isn't doing so bad with their new direction. I'm quite happy about it tbh. Happier than I want to admit haha

He obviously really enjoyed it. A 6 is fair considering they come from rock/metal, one of the most boring genres in 2019. Outside of it's genre a 6 probably is an 8 hence why he loved on it as much as he does.

That's the thing, I'm not under that impression. Fantano fans aren't necessarily a hive mind, apparently this person's rationale was "people pretended to like Ariana Grande's worst album because Fantano likes it so they're going to pretend to like Amo"
