Brother, Sister will always be the quintessential mewithoutYou album for me. I've never even considered myself a huge fan of the band as a whole, but that album is just excellent from start to finish. I later developed a real appreciation for the relative straightforward-ness of Ten Stories as well.
But really, the diversity they've shown over their career is pretty impressive.

I would say Pale Horses is def best starting point, really does a fantastic job of combining their post-hardcore/heavier roots with the more artsy direction they took on brother, sister forward
also that average is orgasmic

Came here to say that Flee stands out as being the worst track by some distance because of the uninspired chorus. I see you lot had that covered already. It's the only thing holding me back from 5ing at the moment.
