I mean, slam dunks are usually more of a full hand/arm exercise than one based around individual finger dexterity

everything that happens in basketball is ultimately rooted in finger dexterity (or at least strength idk, i've always been more into dex builds)

A lot of fingerstyle guitarists like Ben Howard, Nick Drake and Tallest Man actually use really simple chord shapes, often just one finger chords, and rely on their right hand technique and sense of rhythm to make melodies

And I just listened to this, liked it a lot. I like how he mixes atmosphere and ambience with catchy melodies. Every time a song becomes a little too formless for my liking he introduces a really nice guitar melody that kinda anchors things again. Kinda drags a bit in the middle, I’m not big on The Defeat or Boat To An Island but everything else is really consistent.

Honestly the atmosphere of this is so quintessential British aisles I love it. Just takes me through those rolling fields

Really? Are you British? I am, and this takes me to like New Mexico or summat. We don't have those sparse wastelands around here that this is evocative of (for me at least)
