Yeah the placing of some of the tracks doesn’t work... t/t & Reptilian in particular. There’s some good stuff here individually, Arkhipov Calm, Trigger & A Single Tear (until it overstays it’s welcome) but nothing on this competes with top-tier Converge material. A little disappointed.

EXACTLY. After multiple listens, it still reeks of nü-metal. Realllllllllly could've been left off the album.

I just broke into the dumbest grin at Broken by Light. What an absolutely wonderful track.

Broken Light’s good yeah, it’s mostly very good actually just not Converge good... worst offenders are Under Duress, Pain & Reptilian. I like the t/t, it’s just in the wrong place. Wildlife is unremarkable but solid.

Just finished. Only track that didn't really do it for me was Trigger, but I agree with your view on Wildlife as well.
A Single Tear is such a good opening track though, holy crap
