Undoing Ruin is fine but its just a teaser. Id take Hidden Hands and this over it.

i've hardly listened to the first few darkest hour albums i do it as a treat every few years and think i'll dig deeper into them some year but have never heard them more than once in any given year

I really like this more hardcore approach over the melodic metalcore of Deliver Us.
The first two songs here just go crazy hard. Like, am i crazy for thinking this but the first song could be an ETID opener.

I feel like Undoing Ruin balances the two best, but the album really should get a remaster, it doesn't exactly need it, but it would be interesting to me...

Id like to hear a remaster on that, deliver us and hidden hands. If they're done right, they could really help the records imo.

I think the only reason I have Deliver Us rated lower than this is that I didn't think the clean-ish vocals on that album suit it very well. Demons, for example, bothers me enough to where I typically don't listen to the song because of them
This is just full blast pretty much all the way thru and I love it
