It's fun to kick a band when it's down.

you should. since the last time i was on, you and metallicaman have beat the sh*t out of everyone i hate. ok, for your sake, i'll be neutral on mudvayne. Both of the "Not Falling" videos are kickass anyway.

Yes, because everyone scatters in free when they see metallicaman.
After all, one look at him would make anyone want to listen to Metallica. A lesser punishment.
One of the worst albums ever.

reload is their worst album and really fuel and unforgiven II are all that are good off of that
this album is OK, just not for metallica, st. anger and frantic are great tunes
some kind of monster is overrated. it's a sucky song, repetative and boring
pretty average review

Load is way worse than Reload^^

I think what people don't realize about this album is you're not going to see MoP 2.0. Metallica is a band that is forever changing their sound. The problem with this record is it went to far off the deep end for Metallica. If another band made this record, it would have made that band. I like it for what it is. Another thing is I think St. Anger was more of an album for Metallica and less of an album for the fans.

And the fact that they no longer have tight enough musicianship to release and album as complex as AJFA. Hammet seems really unsure of himself on stage nowadays; therefore he should write easier nice sounding bluesy scales over faster thrashier music. James can do whatever he wants with his vocals.

i don't really believe that. They pretty much do what they want to whether or not the fan like it. I just like to enjoy the ride they've setup.
I wouldn't say that they no longer have tight musicianship because they have been playing Dyer's Eve live and have been doing a damn good job.
Another thing is if people want to see another thrash album from Metallica then your out of luck. It's not going to happen. They said that my may have been one of the pioneers of that type of music but they left that scene as quickly as they could.

they have been playing Dyer's Eve live
Yeah, but Hammet keeps coming to compromises with his playing, a real guitarist shouldn't do that. he just needs to remember why he started in the first place. I mean come on, the guy had trouble playing the some kind of monster riff.....

this CD is really good but master of puppets is my favorite one in all there albums

Dyer's Eve is like impossible to play live anyway. I have only heard it once live on a recording from a few years ago. They certainly didn't play it like they do on the CD, which is somewhat understandable to me. If he's played it loads of times in the studio then why can't he live?
Still, Smells Like Teen Spirit looks like absolute poetry compared to "Frantic, tick, tick, tick, tick, tock".
The lyrics on this album are terrible, te, ta, to, totally unispired.
