viva la vida is beautifully orchestrated,, brian eno and jon hopkin's production is incredible, and it's a unique. thoughtful and harmonically sound album
this is garbage for mountain ddew swigging 13 year olds with bowl cuts
also saying x&y is better is absolutely lolworthy, that's the most stale and boring coldplay album there is. it's not their worst but it's certainly the least interesting. you just have to look at how dry and drawling fix you is to gage the amount of interest there is, it's coldplay going through the motions of their early sound. viva la vida is a complete reinvention in which their monotonous stripped-back approach was replaced with a much higher dynamic range and lush and varied instrumentation
in other words you're full of shit
