Then Again is still a fucking jam. One of the worst on here sure, but still like a 4/5 track for me.

I can't bring myself to 5 this, it's extremely well-made and I LOVE the production but I really get the feeling this release barely even scratches the surface of what they're capable of

Actually, now I think about it if this didn't have Waveform it would be more of a 5 contender, so I understand even more your Then Again point

Then Again is solidly top 7 of the album, which means it's a jam and a half.

Feeling kind of not that excited for the album tho, since Angelina, Paterson & Leo, Portals and Easy Enough are gonna be on it, which I've already kind of listened to death/ aren't as good anything on Cardinal

Wish they'd get out of the habit of putting old songs on new releases. I mean it can work out spectacularly, the version of Size of the Moon on here destroying that recorded elsewhere, but I really do just want one LP of solely new stuff. Seems kind of entitled, but it'd make it feel more exciting and like a proper LP release rather than a kind of add on endeavour

Still listen to this at least once daily. Probably the most emotionally attached I've been to an album, so trying not to set myself up for disappointment with the new one. Really dig all the songs I've heard from it though

I'd be opposed to them including Angelina but it sounds like this version will have a different sound/might possibly be fleshed out a little longer? I'm actually okay with including stuff they made along the way as long as the tracks end up being longer than 2 minutes and some change

I've only listened to Easy Enough and I'm trying to stay away from everything else. You could basically listen to half of this album before it came out lol

Portal is outstanding imo, and I do love Easy Enough. P+L is alright to me but the Audiotree version of Angelina is what got me hooked on them in the first place. Not expecting that sound but I can't imagine they'd just pull the same arrangement in and call it a day
