Realisation kicked in ojin pal. Somethings go beyond music. As a work of art/soundtracked personal testament to ones own demise this is classic.

not group thought you retard, it just reading the lyrics and taking in the album with the context that he was dying (which we previously didnt know) greatly affects how people will value it

The context completely shifted when the listener realized these were his final days when he penned these songs about death and the afterlife. The music became exponentially more personal and powerful.

"dude, listen to Ziggy Stardust, Honky Dory, Low and Station to Station at the very least"

Don't forget The Man Who Sold the World, Aladdin Sane, Heroes, Scary Monsters and Outside. Essential.

And if you have time, Space Oddity, Diamond Dogs, Young American, Lodger, Earthling, Heaten and The Next Day are pretty cool too.

This might be his best. The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust, Hunky Dory, Low, Heroes, Station to Station, The Man Who Sold the World, Diamond Dogs, Scary Monsters, Aladdin Sane, Young Americans, Lodger, Heathen, Outside, Let's Dance... some of them are classic, others are nothing short of amazing, but... Blackstar is a whole new dimension. Hell, this thing. It's undescribable, I can't even verbalize the impact this thing made and is still making (and probably will continue progressively making) on me. Bowie is the ultimate Legend.

This is fucking weird. It sounds like Bowie listened to a lot of Radiohead.

It's not even close to be the most experimental Bowie album, but it's still experimental as hell when you compare it to most music out there

All the vocal production on the title track is blowin' my mind.

The last half of the track goes full on evil with Bowie's distorted vox, crazy track.

"Lazarus" is so fucking dark and hard-hitting.
