I haven't ever really been into early emo, but I'd be open to recs. I'm just picky.

'dbiz listen to this band's debut LP'
I will. I downloaded that and a There Will Be Fireworks album at the same time a couple years ago and don't recall being able to tell them apart. A lot of music I listen to can't be heard in certain situations. I do know I tried these guys out while I was working so they never had my full attention. Sometimes that is for the best and works and sometimes I just can't get into the details.

You're talking about JEW, yeah? Or is there some underground album by a band called Clarity that I somehow missed? I'm already a JEW fan.

this band's first album was pretty good, their EPs are on and off in quality.
