False Idol feels plodding while this feels energized. False Idol has too many simplistic song structures and emphasizes the vocals too much (every song has an average to good chorus), but it was a bad move cause the instrumentation is where is band shines most.

I’ll never forget watching these guys soundcheck and their bass player literally standing on stage sweep picking for the bass soundcheck trying to flex how sick he was and then playing only the top two strings their whole set
