Loved Lipan Conjuring when I was pretty stoned, but yeah otherwise mostly pointless. On the other hand, the bit where Lost Keys goes into Rosetta Stoned is great.

The Pot is by far the most played song on my ITunes, absolutely everything about it is fucking brilliant.

I don't think the album really flows, I see it as split up into blocks - i.e. tracks 1-2, tracks 3-4, tracks 5-8, tracks 9-10. The last track doesn't count.

That's the only think stopping it from being a 5 for me, a few of the individual tracks are easily 5 material.

This is probably one of the best reviews I have read on this site.

there's far more for the teeth to sink into for people who are more interested in feeling their music rather than thinking about it.

Perhaps some people are interested in both..

And perhaps people even did while listening to this. Just imagine.. duh.

While this is a good review and I agree with most of its points, I can't get over how arrogant the tone is, as with many reviews/reviewers of that era.

Just bumped this up, recently got all the Tool albums and this and Aenima I've really been into alot more than Lateralus. All the actual songs on this album are top-notch...well except Jambi's kind of boring.

I prefer Jambi over The Pot, althogh the bassline is awesome.

To each their own. It's an ok song, but it seems like lots of build-up and a lame finish. Great lyrics though, as usual with Tool.

Jambi is like bad sex. The Pot is like the best sex ever.

The Pot is too straight forward and Jambi is more interesting rhythmically for me.

Really great album. I agree with Basline, 10000 Days (both parts) is easily the best song here. So amazing.
