haha, I can't believe I actually tried this. I've heard worse albums in my life, but not by a band that I used to love so much.

Yeah this album was so bad that I think great stuff like Jester Race and Whoracle lost a .5 rating just by being associated with it.

I can expect an atrocious heavy album to come from the likes of Bring Me the Horizon or Emmure, but when an amazing band like In Flames makes something as bad as this, it makes me severely disappointed.

I'm going to stick with Soilwork from now on, at least they the chops to release a fucking great album unlike these guys.

I like a few tracks tracks. I even like Rusted Nail. It's just really watered down, even compared to the two before this (Although I like those)

I mean, it's not bad if your 15 year old cousin is like 'yo bro wanna hear my bands demo' but when it's melodic death metal legends In Flames...

a sense of purpose is a fantastic album imo, shows there is at least some potential in this type of sound but sadly they seem to go the opposite direction of where they should be going from a sense of purpose, just water everything down more. Kind of like the pit Rise Against fell into, The Sufferer and the Witness was more mainstream but it was still amazing, they just took the album's success as a sign of more watering down = more likes and then they became shit.
