probably, the immense amounts of hype probably don't help in retrospect. i feel like this one isn't as beloved as it used to be

trouble with its classic status is that the wave it helped inspire is not looked upon too fondly in retrospect

one of those 'for better or for worse' things. i increasingly count myself in the 'for worse' camp, but still enjoy rinsing this every now and then

Did have it at a 4.5 but I can't get over the repetitive nature of this album. I feel like their later material is far more exciting and adventurous, which gives them more room to grow. This album bangs but it does wear a little thin on repeat listens.
