the first part of FS2 is ridiculously good. some of the best/most unique sounding La Dispute. the 2nd half is much weaker from Jordan. I definitely need the lyrics there to confirm how I feel but it's a shame. It transitions really nicely into Rhodonite and Grief though

the transitions are fire.
I hope the second half grows on me because wow, the first section is genuinely perfect. These low screams are crazy. Him repeating the line about anger/anchor is the low point but everything else is pretty good

Panorama is much heavier than this album for anyone that was interested in that. Hell, its heavy moments are far heavier than Wildlife's too

alright the climax of You Ascendant might actually be the best thing Jordan has ever done. I'm probably going to take a break from listening for a bit now but it's still around a 4. It might take a while, but I definitely see this as something that will grow really well on me. I also think this will be much better listened to as a whole than as separate songs.
