Korn has a very complicated relationship with homosexuality, but I will say props to him wearing a kilt and black nail polish and calling himself a f****t at Woodstock 99 in front of over 200,000 people. Hell, I wanna do that.

Yeah. I do think how their album's view homosexuality is fascinating. Like on Faget he lashes out at bullies for calling him homophobic slurs and how it made him question his sexuality, yet he ends the song calling them queers back. All in the Family is much worse with its use of slurs. Yet at the same time his stage performance brushed up with androgyny, and idk I really respect how unafraid he was to call himself a f****t in front of that many people, especially Woodstock 99. How they processed homophobia is very misguided and messy, yet it never felt malicious to me. Understanding your sexuality is confusing and messy, so while they definitely weren't smart enough to not make problematic, I really appreciate seeing that confusion represented in a metal context.
Very long winded but I stand by it.
