We can agree that this album is pretty weak (my 3 is being generous and is basically just cos of High Hopes) and that The Final Cut is vastly superior.

I disagree on both counts, actually. The Final Cut, which I would give only 3/5, is slightly worse than this album. High Hopes, except for the solo, does not sound very good to me.
