I heard XXX first. This still wins. Though, I admittedly like the first half of the album more. I know the style change is on purpose and the second half is still GOOD, but the first half is flawless.

xxx is way better. lyrics are better, beats are better it's smarter but he still goes HAM on every track. so endlessly quotable. nothing on this touches a track like monopoly or 30.

i mean if xxx has one misstep it's radio song and that one only exists for the novelty
anyway.

not saying this one is bad by any means but it could lose a good 5 or 6 tracks.

and actually feel more finished than it does now.

There are quite a few tracks on XXX I get literally nothing out of, which I certainly can't say for this. I will say there are less unpredictably killer tunes here, but I prefer the consistency for sure.

xxx is a fair amount better but i feel like they're actually very different albums + it's pretty easy to predict who likes each one more

yeah, i guess this is prob more similar to the hybrid if anything. i still like this a lot too, just doesn't have as much of that grit i loved on xxx.

XXX is an awesome album, but I feel like this just took what XXX wanted and was meant to be and made it better. Only slightly better, but better.

i think the quality of the lyrics on xxx and its more cohesive album-long construction makes it shine a fair bit brighter than old, but this also has songs that are fuckin killer for sure.
