This is marinating well it seems. A welcome return. Nice balance between technicality and thrashiness without descending too far down the prog rabbit-hole. I prefer the vox to some of the 'wackier' or higher register stuff too.

This band descends into riff-hole rather than the prog one. Vocals are definetely the not most accessible as they are super serious and raspy. They are so good is hard to see the vocalist can even replicate them. You can hear his vocal cords shatter, especially in the second album.
