Yeah man, nothing touches the power of Dedicated to Chaos. That's the only 'Ryche album I have 5'd to this day... incredible achievement in songwriting and storytelling

"I dunno, Queensryche are sort of goofy for the most part"

That's only after '94. S/t to PL is my favorite streak in... music, possibly.

Anyway food for thought: I kinda wish this album didn't split the music so much. People often say that this isn't progressive enough but that's pretty silly to say because had they kept more stuff together like let's say "Anarchy X / Revolution Calling" or the entirety of the last four songs I'm sure that today nobody would be complaining about the genre. Also the band could have still published I Don't Believe in Love as a single, like Yes published Soon even though on the album it is a section of The Gates of Delirium

Yeah, this proves its strength over time in the sense that 1) it's just timeless, 2) it has an amazing flow, and 3) the concept and lyrics are something reallly worth paying attention to while listening and are very rewarding on the long run.

Used to have this on a 5, don't anymore - NOT because I don't like it as much anymore but mostly because my scale has risen over time. It's close anyway.

Lucca, if you like this you need to listen to Rage For Order ASAP. imo it's even better than this; darker and more atmospheric.

I do like my music darker and more atmospheric. Some of these songs seem danceable and it's scaring me.
