normally i'd agree with you, but this doesn't really apply to Swans considering how diverse their discog is.

Swans is my favorite band but i've never really gotten into Children of God THAT much. i mean it's excellent, just not the 5 i was expecting after seeing the ratings

I really hate this... guess it's not meant for me but I don't see how so many can enjoy this album that much. I would probably rate this a two instead of a 1.5, but I admit I hated the album even more cause everyone else loves it. Not that I have good taste in music or anything. Oh and 5 minute intro to Mother of the World makes me want to poke my eyes out....
