No, I haven't.
I've been busy listening to a bunch of back catalogue melodic hardcore, trying to expand my knowledge of folk metal and branching out into more death metal. Point is, I like this record because, yeah it may not bring out some more orignal elements.
It's the WAY it's put together that's impressive. The music is emotive, well composed and flows in a manner that creates a sense of movement, rather than the static life that isn't show by so many modern records.

this band were giving out free copies of their (stellar) demo on metal forums when I first got into them, and it took em 5 years to come out with this due to a lot of problems far from mainstream. it just had a ridiculous hype train on here out of nowhere.
