@Yankee: I honestly find most of the stuff he did after Stupid Dream (both with PT and solo) pretty boring. He has done some good stuff since then but nothing that I enjoy anywhere near as much as PT's early psychedelic material.

well you seem to have an older styled taste jamie so I could see why youd like early pt alot more. they channel floyd pretty hard. i think hes done some great shit since tho like this. its just different. i dig all the eras basically.

I'd actually say Up the Downstair (one of my favourites) owes less to old school prog/psych than this does.
